Enda T-shirt Design Eligibility and Rules.

tl;dr:

1) The contest is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 24 in Kenya except employees of Enda and members of their immediate family.

2) To enter, come up with a design that tells the story of running in a creative way, upload it to the dropbox folder provided in the link together with your details. Note: design should be in ai format.

3) After the season is over, Enda will choose 4 best photos and subject them to a vote on Instagram after which the winner will be announced on all our channels.

4) The winner will receive one free shirt from that edition and a % of the sales from that edition as well as his/her story to be told to our audience when launching the shirt.

5) By participating, you grant Enda the right to use your design in any way and release all your rights to it.


Eligibility: This contest is open to anyone between the ages of 18-24 years residing in Kenya. Employees of Enda Athletic (Enda) and members of their immediate family (spouse, parent, sibling or child and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household of such employees, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win.


How to enter: Come up with your best design of running and design the artwork in ai format. Post your design to the link Enda provides together with your details. The artwork should be a creation of your own and not someone else’s work. Eligibility of individual entries will be at the sole discretion of Enda, for any reason or for no reason, though specific reasons for disqualification may include use of inappropriate language or visuals. All entries become the sole property of Enda and may be used in future advertisements.


Submission of photos for the contest: The final 4 entries to be submitted for public voting will be judged entirely at the discretion of Enda. By submitting any photo or information to Enda, you hereby grant to Enda and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees and assigns, an irrevocable, perpetual and royalty-free right to use, reproduce, edit, display, transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish and otherwise make use of the submitted photo or other information in any and all media, whether now known or hereinafter created, throughout the world and for any purpose. In addition to other things, the rights granted to Enda includes but is not limited to the right to resize, crop, censor, compress, edit, feature, caption, affix logos to, and to otherwise alter or make use of the submitted photo. By submitting any photo or information to Enda, you hereby represent and warrant that the submitted photo or information does not and shall not infringe on any copyright, any rights of privacy or publicity of any person, or any other right of any third party, and you have the right to grant any and all rights and licenses granted to Enda herein, including but not limited to all necessary rights under copyright, free and clear of any claims or encumbrances.


You acknowledge and agree that Enda shall have no obligation to post, display or otherwise make publicly available any photo or information submitted by you, and may, in its sole and unfettered discretion, remove, edit, modify or delete any photo or information that you submit to Enda.

You understand and intend that any photo or information submitted by you to Enda may be available for viewing, rating, review and comment on by the public, and understand that comments or ratings with which you disagree or are unhappy about may be published or otherwise become associated with any photo or information you submit to Enda. By submitting any photo or information to Enda, you hereby waive any privacy expectations that you may have with respect to any such photo or information submitted by you to Enda.

You hereby agree to hold Enda and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees sponsors and assigns harmless from and against, and hereby waive any right to pursue,any claims of any nature arising in connection with the inclusion in, publication via or display on any Enda site, or any other use authorized under these Terms, of any photo or information submitted to Enda by you.

Photos or information submitted by you to the Site shall be the property of Enda, and Enda shall have no obligation to preserve, return or otherwise make available to you or others any photos or information so submitted.


Winner selection and notification: Enda will choose 3 entries and have the Enda Facebook community vote for the best photo. The winner will be announced on both Facebook and Instagram and will be tagged on the announcement post. Enda will request the winner to provide an email address through which they can be reached, and for a physical address where the prize will be mailed to. Enda will also contact the winner on how the money will be disbursed to him/her.


Campaign period: Entries shall be done online starting the second week of May(13th May) to the end of the month(31st May) when the contest entries shall stop. Entries are allowed throughout the above-specified dates


Prize: The winner of the contest will have his design used for the next edition of our running shirts. He/she will also receive prize money of Kes.10,000 and have a chance to see the process of how we make the shirts.


Instagram, Facebook and Twitter: This design contest is no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram. You are providing information to Enda and not any of the mentioned social media site and therefore agree to completely release these social media sites of any claims

Agreement to rules: By participating, each entrant agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Enda, which shall be final in all respects relating to this competition; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless Enda, and their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives of the foregoing (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant's participation in the contest or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any awarded prize; and (c) to the use of his/her entry for advertising, publicity, trade and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Enda and its designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so.
