Run As You Are

We believe running is more than the fun of going further or faster together, but also the feeling of lifting each other up while creating an impact. This is why every year during the holiday season, the Enda community has a tradition of double-giving for a cause. We raise prices by 10%, which we match as a company and donate to charity.

As part of our Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Giving Tuesday holiday shopping, we shall be releasing the next Lapatet colorway the Black Rainbow Runners. To go along with their release, we shall raise our prices by $10 (1,000 Ksh) during this period. Meaning, you chip in $10 or 1,000 Ksh, and we match it to $20 (2,000 Ksh). The Black Rainbow Runners will be on sale alongside a limited edition gender-neutral apparel line (below) from Nairobi designer Jamie Kimani of Sevaria.

Proceeds from this year’s donations will go to the National Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commision (NGLHRC) of Kenya. The NGLHCR aims to prevent and respond to discrimination on account of real or presumed sexual orientation and gender identity. They also have an ongoing legal petition against discriminatory laws. “The funds will go a long way in boosting our litigation efforts in challenging criminalization of same sex intimacy, advocacy, as well as civic education of LGBTQ+ individuals on their rights,” says Njeri Gateru, NGLHCR Executive Director.

We’ve summarized this campaign in a video that explains why this campaign is important. Jamie Kimani, from Sevaria, also shares about the androgynous apparel line and the inspiration behind it.
