For this season’s colorways, we looked to traditional clothing from across the great diversity of Kenyan cultural groups for inspiration.

Swahili is a Bantu-speaking community from coastal Kenya. For centuries Bantu, Arab, Indian, and Portuguese traders worked the East African coast. Interaction between these communities on the East African coast gave birth to Swahili. Predominantly Muslim, Swahili women customarily wear a black buibui (cloak) and men a white kanzu (tunic). It is from this palette that we made our shoes.

For a majority of people, the Endas are true to size.
