Koobi Fora Update
Our first ever trail shoe the Koobi Fora, is meant for taking on dirt and rock trails, but still comfortable enough if you end up doing part of your run on the tarmac.
Unfortunately, we recently discovered aesthetic issues with some of the shoes with creasing in the toe and some visible glue around the sole.
We know from spot checks that we still have some stock that has this issue, and have decided to offer all remaining shoes with a final sale discount.
MADE IN KENYA
It's not easy creating a supply chain here in Kenya, and we know that we can keep improving! We also appreciate you, our community for being part of our growth and improvement.
First, An APOLOGY
We want to apologize and also thank you for being part of our community, and helping us to improve and grow.
We couldn't do this hard work without your continuous support and feedback.
Creasing & Glue
We used a new material (Ariaprene) that has great performance capabilities but acts differently than our previous knit uppers.
The fabric needs a special steaming and cool down process as we attach it to the sole where we need to be extremely precise with glue to avoid issues.
Since the creases and glue are not immediately apparent for several hours or days, some of the models arrived with issues.
We want to reinforce that the creasing and slight signs of glue at sole are aesthetic only, and does not hinder the performance.
Customers are loving the performance so far...
5/5- Comfortable, very good feel and attractive shoe. The colours are awesome!
5/5- So happy for my new Enda trail shoes. They are very comfy and nice to wear. Love to use them for hiking in all terrain.
For all of you who have supported us and purchased Koobi Fora's already, we have sent you a special email in order to thank you, apologize and offer you some options to manage any creasing issues.
