This collection was inspired by traditional clothing from Kenya's diverse cultural groups.

The Samburu, a Nilotic-speaking community, are pastoralists from Northern Kenya. They are famous for their colorful, elaborate clothing and accessories. It is from this elaborate palette that we made our shoes.

To the Samburu, each color has a meaning. Green for pasture, red for blood from their cattle (a symbol of wealth), yellow for harmony, blue means water, and white for purity. For the Iten Samburu, we took inspiration from the colors yellow, blue, and red.

For a majority of people, the Endas are true to size.

I originally ordered a women's size US 8.5 (my normal US shoe size) but found the shoes to be narrow and tight (my feet tend towards wide but typically wear normal/B width shoes). I contacted Enda's customer service via email and was able to talk through the sizing, wanting a wider toe box and about 1cm more length, and was sent a men's size US 8 in exchange. The men's size 8 fits great, wide enough and my toes have room to move. If you are unsure on sizing reach out to the customer service team.

The men's version of the Iten fit well, are comfortable, are beautiful, and well made. I am very happy with this purchase and customer service.

I absolutely love my Enda shoes!!! I have been waiting over 3 years to get the shoes and to finally be able to get them. I love how versatile and stylish they are. Great Shoes!

I was positively surprised by the comfort and lightness of the Iten-Samburu I just bought. My first couple of runs were just incredible. Their look is catchy and their performance is top. Too good to be true! Thanks !!!!!
