The Balancing Act: Entrepreneurship and Motherhood
Being a mom and an entrepreneur can be challenging at times, but I have learned to embrace the balance and find joy in both roles. Motherhood has taught me the importance of patience and perseverance. It has also taught me to be resilient and adaptable, which are essential qualities for any entrepreneur. Running a company can be unpredictable and demanding, but I have learnt to approach challenges with the same grit and determination that I apply to raise my children. I have been fortunate enough to have an amazing support system that has helped me along the way.
I have also learned to prioritize self-care and to make time for the things that matter most. As a mom and CEO, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life. However, I have found that taking time for myself, whether it's going for a run, reading a book, or simply meditating, has been essential for my overall well-being and productivity.
At Enda, we are committed to empowering women to be their best selves, and I believe that starts with me. As a mother, I know the importance of balancing work and family life. That's why we prioritize creating a flexible and family-friendly work environment for our team.
One of the things that has helped me to manage both roles is to have a clear plan and priorities. I make sure to focus on what matters most and delegate tasks when necessary. I also try to find time for self-care and self-reflection, which helps me to stay motivated and focused.
I also believe in leading by example. I try to set a good example for my team and my family by being present and engaged in everything I do. This has helped me to build strong relationships and create a positive impact in both my personal and professional life.
As we celebrate Mother's Day, I want to say a big thank you to all the amazing moms out there who inspire us every day. You are the backbone of our families and communities, and your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed.
